Closets are structures in Krampus where the player can hide in. They keep the player hidden from Krampus, depending on different conditions below.

Description[]

They are metal lockers covered with what appears to be rust. They have 7 slits on the top and a handle on the left.

Mechanics[]

Closets are used as hiding spots from Krampus, like said before. Clicking on a closet while pointing at it automatically puts you inside after the closet door opens. To get out, simply do the same.

If Krampus enters a room where you're hiding in a closet, he will not notice it and he will walk away. However, if he sees you go inside one, he will run towards it and jumpscare you.

locations[]

There are five closets in the game.

  • Starting Room - Between the bed and shortcut to the basement.
  • Dining Room - In front of a wall not far from the exit door.
  • Top Floor - Next to the door locked with the silver lock.
  • Basement - Next to a stack of boxes where the hatchet is.
  • Hallway - In the small room containing the horn, between a blue empty shelf and a switch to open the basement gates.

Trivia[]

  • In the starting room, there is a bug where if you open a closet and immediately get under a bed at the same time you get in the closet, you can clip through the floor and end up in the basement, thus escaping the starting room without the metal key. (Video)
