The Protagonist is, of course, the protagonist of the Krampus game. Not much is known about their age, weight, height, eye color, etc. as they are the representation of playing the game.
Personality[]
As nothing much is known about them, they are shown to be clever and smart when it comes to solving puzzles in order to escape Krampus' house. However, before that, the protagonist must've been disobedient, rude, and overall just bad, as Krampus usually goes for the naughty children in the folklore. Or, they may have been good, it's just that Krampus came to kidnap them for fun.
Fate[]
After the game ends in two both ways, the protagonist will experience either two fates:
Good Ending: The protagonist escapes the house, shown on the ending screen.
Bad Ending (now removed): A screen would say "GAME OVER" indicating that the protagonist might have died.
Physical appearance[]
Based on the picture at the ending screen, it can be inferred that the protagonist is a male. They are shown to have messy brown hair, a green shirt, brown shorts and black shoes. Their face isn't identified because the protagonist is facing the back. It also might be assumed that the protagonist is around 5-7 years of age.

The protagonist is shown to say certain things when trying to interact with objects. If unable to do so, the player will say something like "I need a/an X" for example. These are used as advice for the player to help them figure out what they need in order to complete the game. There are 7 quotes the protagonist says:
"I need a metal key"
"I need a silver key"
"I need a golden key"
"I need to find a way to open these gates"
"I need to find something to break these boards with"
"I need to find a way to destroy these stones."
"I think there is something buried there."
Trivia[]
- The protagonist has no model attached to themselves in-game and they are shown to be completely invisible.
- A canonical name was soon to be revealed for the protagonist. It is Liam Greyson, however the name is not yet considered to be added to the protagonist. (proof in a Discord chat with AleksandrCG)
