The silver key is a progression item in Krampus. It is used to unlock the door to the room keeping the incantation.
Description[]
It's a clean, white key made out of silver.
Mechanics[]
The silver key, just like any other key, is used to cut off a lock to unlock a door. This key is used to cut off a silver lock on the door on the top floor which keeps the incantation. It is found buried underneath a dirt pile in the underground cave at the basement, which is blocked off by stones.
Trivia[]
- Since the key wasn't available in the old version of the game, only two keys were present. The silver key's presence in the game thus makes it a trio of keys.
- It's possible to get the incantation without having to unlock the door at all. By standing near the hallway door from the dining room, close it and you'll clip through. The player is then supposed to walk on the edges past the room with the horn, and upon doing so, they have to go on the stairs and still stay on the edges. When they reach the top floor, they have to crouch underneath the suspicious picture and eventually reach the incantation if they're lucky enough to not slip back down to the hallway or fall off the map into the black void.
